Aktif Residual Current Protection Relays are devices that give the command to open to the circuit breaker when the leakage currents that may occur in the electrical networks are observed and approached to the limits that will threaten the system and human health.
There are earth leakages in the networks due to reasons such as insufficient infrastructure, equipment failures, manufacturing errors in the systems. The earth leakages are detected from the vectorial difference of the current values coming from the phases and returning from the neutral. In order to prevent this electrical problem from causing loss of life and property, we offer a solution with our relays used together with RCR and ELR series self-toroid or external toroid (Toroidal Residual Current Transformers, Collector and Multiplexer Toroidal Current Transformers). Our Aktif RCR and ELR series residual current protection relays can limit these earth leakages in a wide range of 30 mA to 30 A.

There are ground leakages in the networks due to reasons such as insufficiency of infrastructure, equipment failures, manufacturing faults. RCR and ELR Series Residual Current Protection Relays, which can limit these leakages in a wide range such as 30 mA and 30 A, also have a time setting between 0.02 sec and 5 sec.
The products are used for different purposes depending on their place. While there is a limitation of 25-30 mA in locations with direct human contact, this level is 250-300 mA in locations where fire control is made but there is no human contact. RCR and ELR Series Residual Current Protection Relays can do higher limitations as in both levels.
RCR and ELR Series Residual Current Protection Relays also apply residual current selectivity similar to medium voltage systems. In case of a malfunction, in order for the locations close to the malfunction to be opened first and the main supply not to be cut off; The selectivity can be adjusted with the current limit and tripping times probes on the relay.
Thanks to the test button on the RCR and ELR Series Residual Current Protection Relays, it is possible to control possible residual current relay failures. System refresh is also provided by the reset button.
We prevent unnecessary system trips by using our product options with low-pass filters that filter harmonic currents, which can be encountered intensively in industrial facilities and business centers.
