The EDS 30 Insulation Fault Detection Device is designed to locate insulation faults in IT systems.
The EDS 30 Insulation Fault Detection Device communicates with the Insulation Monitoring Device (IMD30) via the ModBus RTU protocol and quickly identifies which line is causing the fault. It continuously scans six current transformers, and if a leakage is detected, the alarm LED of the faulty channel lights up. Alarm details are displayed on the Local Alarm Panel (LAP70) and the Central Alarm Panel (RAI70).
