LoRaWAN is a wireless communication protocol that provides long-range communication with low power consumption. It enables devices to connect to the internet and transmit data over gateways using the LoRaWAN module.

We use the LoRaWAN protocol for remote reading and monitoring of electricity analyzers. In this way, analyser data is wirelessly transmitted to the central system, and invoice tracking, fault detection and energy analyses are easily performed.

Rail Type Energy Analyzers provide the following advantages:

  • Space saving with rail mounting
  • Bidirectional energy measurement capability
  • LoRaWAN communication
  • THD measurement
  • Circuit breaker for use in prepaid systems (NDM50 Series)
  • 1 x 230V or 3 x 230/400 V
  • Safe usability with MID, RoHS, CE Certificates

Description

It is especially ideal for users facing space issues in electrical panels. With LoRaWAN communication, it is also possible to use these analyzers in system solutions.

These analayzers are highly suitable for places with large energy infrastructure and numerous measurement points, such as residential areas, shopping malls, residences, and marinas.

In addition to active energy measurement, rail-mounted electric analysers can also measure reactive energy, allowing for the monitoring of potential compensation needs. With both import and export energy measurement capabilities, they enable monitoring of both consumed and produced energy. Along with energy parameters, they can also measure current, voltage, power, and frequency.

The THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) measurement, which is a power quality parameter especially used in three-phase measurements, is a significant aid. These analyzers are used to monitor harmonics, which are one of the most important power quality issues.

With the NDM50 series model, these analayzers can operate in a prepaid system, functioning on a "pay as you use" basis, and they also allow for energy disconnection without needing to visit the subscriber who hasn’t paid the bill.

The prepaid system frees the user from issues such as bill due dates, encouraging more organised and planned usage. The upfront payments also allow the distribution company to purchase electricity more strategically and at lower prices.
