CONSOLIDATION OF OUR PRODUCTION FACILITIES

As Aktif Elektroteknik, the construction of our new factory building with 30,000 m² of indoor space, which we planned to complete in 2026 in Ankara 1st Industrial Zone, has not yet commenced due to the postponement of infrastructure works and, consequently, the land handover by its administration.

To enhance our efficiency, create operational synergy, strengthen our production capabilities, reduce costs to improve competitiveness, increase our sales through cross-selling opportunities, and respond more rapidly to customer demands, we had planned to consolidate our Medium Voltage production facility in Ankara and our Low Voltage and Power Resistor production facility in Sakarya under one roof at our new factory in Sincan Industrial Zone, which was initially planned to be completed in early 2026.

However, considering that the construction period of the new factory may extend beyond the newly anticipated timeline, and given that the lease agreement for our Sakarya facility will expire in February 2026, we have decided not to postpone our relocation plan. Instead, we have initiated an expansion investment at our existing factory in Ankara, which we own, and we will relocate our Sakarya production facility to our Ankara factory in February 2026. Until the completion of our new factory building in Sincan Industrial zone, we will continue to serve our customers from our current facility in Ankara.

The consolidation of our Medium Voltage and Low Voltage production operations under a single roof will significantly enhance our operational and technological capabilities, thereby strengthening our competitive strategies, market expansion plans, and sustainable growth objectives for 2026 and beyond.
