Description

Preparation billing and customized reports for energy meters where in DHMİ system via communication infrastructure and monitoring to energy quality parameters of network with different brand energy analyzers were expectations of Antalya DHMİ from Aktif Mühendislik. Furthermore, monitoring to digital I/O points and thermal measurements were wanted.
EXPECTATIONS
Monitoring to Antalya Airport and Gazipaşa Airport from single point was wanted together. For that reason fiber and GSM communication infrastructures which are long distance supported were chosen. Points which needed monitoring on the area were selected. Customized measurement panels were installed to these points. Over 200 pcs ISKRAEMECO brand MT174 series energy meters were used on these points with fiber-ethernet and ethernet-RS485 converters. Billing system was prepared according to monitoring of all these energy meters. GSM communication were used where the fiber communication could not supported.
Different energy analyzers were used where the monitoring to energy quality parameters needed (parameters like voltage changes, current, frequency). These energy analyzers were added to system with fiber and GSM main communication lines like energy meters. Also there were a lot of digital I/O points on area which monitoring is wanted. Ethernet communication supported digital I/O devices were used at these points. Analogue thermal meter PT100 sensors were made part of system via GSM and Ethernet communication. With this structure, fast reactions to thermal problems at far points (thermal situations which devices provides flying safety) were made possible.

RESULT
With used ISKRAEMECO brand energy meters, the measurement points which needed billing were added to system successfully. From these points not only energy values, also a lot of energy parameters like voltage-current- Cos∅ can be monitored. Instant measurement can be monitored with energy analyzers from scada view monitoring display. In this way, Analyze to possible problems and requirements was provided before they happened. Necessary actions can be made quickly according to monitored situations of digital I/O points. Thermal measurement points are very important for hardware equipment which is providing flight safety. To be far from center will not be a problem anymore for any measurement point.
