Description
Odayeri Landfill Gas Power Plant which is built by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and is named as the largest landfill power plant in Europe and one of the ten largest landfill power plants in the world had been put into served with participation of President and Metropolitan Municipality Mayor.
Odayeri Landfill area where has been collected waste since 1995 has 52 hectare area and 32 million tone waste stock capacity. It is being targeted to produce 224 GWh electricity energy per year and provide annually energy requirement of 112.000 houses with Odeyeri Landfill Gas Power Plant.
